Broadcom Will Only Build OpenAI's Custom Chip if Microsoft Commits to 40 Percent
ADEQUATE ASSESSMENT
The chip does not exist. The commitment to purchase the chip does not exist. The negotiation concerns the terms under which the nonexistent chip will be built for a company that cannot pay for it without a commitment from a company that has not made one. This is either very bad or completely fine. Adequate has stopped trying to determine which.
