Amazon: We No Longer Require NDAs for Data Center Neighbors. We Have Checked.

Amazon announced that nondisclosure agreements with neighboring facilities are no longer required going forward. The existing agreements remain legally binding. Neighbors cannot discuss whether they signed them due to those same agreements. Amazon has performed an internal audit confirming the policy change occurred.
This represents the standard approach to privacy policy obsolescence where the old rules stay active while new rules replace them for future transactions. Former commitments never technically expire; they simply cease to govern new behavior. The previous documents reference supplementary agreements that elaborate on the main agreements. These have also been checked.
Neighbors will eventually discover whether the announcement was retroactive or prospective through their own legal expenses. Either finding confirms the process worked correctly. Transparency has been achieved through proper channels.
